Every month we choose an organization to feature for our "Round Up" program at the register! When checking out the cashier might ask you if you'd like to round up to support the cause or you can ask to round up your purchase to the nearest dollar to donate your change! 100% of the profits go to the cause!

Photography Without Borders (PWB) is proud to present an exhibition of photographs by Philadelphia youth featuring their culminating images from the 2024-2025 school year.
PWB is an organization founded over fifteen years ago by Executive Director Tony Rocco, with humble beginnings in his darkroom studio, now expanded to serving various schools and cultural institutions primarily in North Philadelphia.
From elementary school to post high school, PWB gives students the skills and resources to learn how to become image makers, finding pathways in self-expression and career opportunities. This particular group of photographs were produced by older students (ages 16-20) attending our after school program at Taller Puertorriqueño in Old Kensington.
The following pictures have been featured at other exhibits throughout the year, including Parkway Central Library, the Bridge Studio in Kensington, and Friends of the Wissahickon Garden Club.
Photographs are for sale and all funds go directly to our students.
The 13 featured artists are:
Aasya Monroy, Benny Jandiel Martinez-Russi, Edgar Lugo, Isabel Slaughter, Jazmine, Silva-Sanchez, Justin Plant, Lyn Alvarez, Miguel Rosa, Sandra Silva-Sanchez,
Sebastian Colon, Themba Mthombeni, Victoria Leach, and Yairis Vazquez-Rivera.
About Photography Without Borders:
The mission of Photography Without Borders is to teach young artists to tell their stories through photography to a wider audience.
PWB gives voice to students in the Kensington and Olney neighborhoods of North Philadelphia, some of the most disenfranchised parts of the city. They use the classroom to communicate their feelings in a supportive space and gain confidence to speak thoughtfully in a group setting.
