Please join us at 2031 S. Juniper St. on Wednesday, August 22, for a special meeting of the members!

One of the great things about being a member-owner of a co-op is you get to make your voice heard! At this special meeting, you can vote on three key proposed amendments to our bylaws. In addition, you'll get an opportunity to check out our future home; meet some of our newly minted Board members and committee volunteers; and learn more about leadership changes on the Board. 

The three bylaw amendments up for your vote include:

• eliminating the requirement that member-owners volunteer 8 hours per year; 
• eliminating the requirement that member-owners attend a member orientation event; and 
• changing our Board candidacy qualifications such that adult candidates must only be a member-owner in good standing, for any length of time. 

Voting "yes" on these measures would simply make volunteerism and attendance at an orientation optional; and provide more flexibility in Board development. You can read more about the proposed bylaw amendments here, or review our current bylaws here.
