This Month's Round Up is Positive Movement Drumline
The group was founded in 2014 with the pledge to "put down the guns and pick up some drums," offering a positive outlet for young people in Philadelphia.
Philly Elmo and the PME drumline are known for spreading positivity and joy by making surprise appearances at events and marching through neighborhoods. The group gained viral fame in 2018 when a video captured them marching past a four-alarm fire in the city's Kensington section.
In short, Philly Elmo is not just a character but a symbol of the Positive Movement, bringing music, dance, and community spirit to the streets of Philadelphia!
