It's official: We're ready to mobilize our contractor and fit out our space at 2031 S. Juniper St. We're on track to open our doors in late summer 2019. This is our year!

WHAT: Join the South Philly Food Co-op for our Groundbreaking Celebration! 

WHERE: Bok Workshop (1901 S. Ninth St.)

WHEN: Thursday, April 18, 2019, 6-9 p.m. (Host Committee Happy Hour: 5-6 p.m.)

THE PRICE: Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for non-members in advance; or $40 at the door.

THE PERKS: We'll have nourishing, delicious, Co-op-themed (!) light fare from our friends at 1149 Cooperative, plus treats from Federal Donuts, Philly Fair Trade Roasters and more; beer, wine and locally crafted signature cocktails; live music; and a sweet silent auction where you can win incredible packages from all sorts of South Philly businesses and individuals. We've got everything from chef's tasting dinners and yoga passes to museum tickets and free eyeglasses ... and much, much more!

THE PURPOSE: After nine years of organizing, researching, mobilizing, community-building and fundraising, we're ready to break ground on the South Philly Food Co-op, thanks to all of you! Come celebrate this momentous occasion and raise a glass to how far we've come together.
