Are you excited to shop at the South Philly Food Co-op? So are we! But we can't open the store without your help.

We hope you can join us on April 19 for a special Volunteer Orientation, built to familiarize you with all the ways you can get involved with the Co-op in the coming months. It's important that we rally our troops right now, as we prepare to begin growing our membership and raising the funds we'll need to open our doors. So we hope you'll join us, whether you're a longtime helper or a newbie! (Please RSVP below to let us know you'll be there!)

Here are the areas of focus we'll be discussing on the 19th:

• Membership! As you know, more member-owners = more and more equity in the store. We'll be executing strategic membership campaigns in the coming months, with the ultimate goal of broadening our reach and adding hundreds of new member-owners to our roster.
• Community Engagement! As always, we'll be hosting events to learn more about what our neighbors want in a store. We'll also continue working to secure business and philanthropic donations.
• Financial support! Most importantly, we will soon launch a member loan campaign, which will allow member-owners to invest directly in our store. We need your help spreading the word about this initiative to our supporters! 

In short, we need a lot of volunteer power to make all of this happen. Whether you can help out once a week or once a month, you can make a critical contribution to helping the Co-op open as soon as possible.
