Mario has a background in mainly local organizing, music, and printing. They are interested in learning how local food and produce can connect with their interest in organizing.
Since moving to Philly as a younger person, they were exposed to the cycling scene as there's much overlap with the music scene. For the last 3-4 years Mario has been a bike messenger for multiple companies.
Constantly having the influence of other artists and photographers that they knew from cycling, they were able to take on their passion for photography. Focusing the last few years building bodies of work. They've been fortunate enough to be featured in multiple galleries and sell prints and make zines.
In Mario's downtime they enjoy flipping through photo books and going on photo walks through different neighborhoods of the city to document Philadelphia and the variety of environments of the city.
