Ashley (she/they) is from New Brunswick, NJ and is a new resident in Philadelphia. They studied Ecology and are passionate about environmental justice, restoration ecology, conservation, and animal behavior. They are interested in urban agriculture and bringing the beauty and magic of the wilderness to cities everywhere. They have spent most of their life caring for and befriending all kinds of animals including wriggly mice, gentle crested geckos, a goofy poodle and cut throat praying mantises. They hope to help make South Philly Co-op a welcoming and inclusive space, and are excited to meet more of Philly's community. In their free time you can find them at the skatepark, chasing frogs in the forest, or birdwatching in a sunny meadow.
