Alley (they/she) has been involved with the South Philly Food Co-op in various capacities over the years — as a volunteer, a board member and secretary, and most recently as a working member. They're thrilled to be joining the staff to commit more time to various tech projects and better support the store and staff.
A parent of two teens (and a "child" in transition herself 🏳️⚧️), Alley enjoys giving her kids space — with gentle guidance — to figure out themselves and their place in the world; playing her ukulele and flute (and sometimes clarinet and guitar); and walking around the city for hours in childlike wonder exploring all of our various nooks and crannies. She dreams of urban hikes in cities around the world, especially in her birth city, NYC — but she will always return home... Philly has the best alleys and street art!
