Lucy (he/they) is a MultiCreating Artist, kitchen witch, organizer, and student of healing. They are a fabulous front end associate at our co-op who loves talking about food and wellness with guests and coworkers. Lucy specifically loves talking about herbs, teas, and foods they've tried. If they see you grabbing something they like a lot, they'll let you know! If you want to try something new, Lucy can help with that! Lucy grows herbs at home like mint, thyme, rosemary, lavender, chamomile, + more and is thrilled to share ways they've used herbs in their daily life to help with mind + body healing.
Lucy's strengths with customers are being welcoming and eager to help... and they're a very good listener!
When Lucy is not at the co-op, they are off supporting their housing cooperative in West Philly (Lucy is a part of a great group of bike and earth loving queer folk who are working hard to create community from their new home in the heart of West Philly), loving on animals (Lucy's favorite animal is a turtle), jamming to their Spotify (their "'On Repeat' Spotify playlist features Yebba, Years & Years, Jess Glynne, Brandy, and MUNA right now), walking through their local park or garden (Clark Park is the current local favorite!), and loving on them & their family.
Lucy really enjoys cooking, baking, and using plants as medicine to bring people together and heal folks with food + plants. They fuse most of what they eat with Mediterranean, Indian, East Asian and Italian flavors/dishes all wrapped up in Afro-Latin east coast culture. Lucy's favorite thing to cook is..... Brunch! Lucy has a couple dishes they always do really well, including Sriracha potatoes.
