Kerri Sitrin | Marketing & Outreach Manager (she/her)

Kerri (she/her) lives in Bella Vista and absolutely loves her neighborhood. She is very connected with the local community and is grateful to live walking distance to so many incredible restaurants and coffee shops within Bella Vista, Italian Market, and East Passyunk. Kerri spent the majority of her career planning and selling events for Starr Restaurants where her love for great food and beverage blossomed. She is very active in the Philadelphia restaurant community. Kerri cares deeply about local, sustainable, & fresh food and is always on the lookout for new restaurants, new cuisines, and new menu items to try. Diagnosed with Celiac Disease 16 years ago, Kerri has been navigating the gluten free scene long before "gluten free" was even a known phrase and is very appreciative of the developments in gluten free food over the last few years. Kerri is currently starting her own freelance marketing and events company with a focus on food & beverage, animal rescue, and nonprofits. She spends her free time volunteering for both ACCT Philly - Philadelphia's only open intake animal shelter - and Philly Goat Project - America's first urban goat farm with the motto "Goats for the Greater Good". At ACCT Philly, Kerri spearheads the monthly photoshoot program to help get homeless dogs adopted. With each photoshoot she sets the theme, finds designer and photographer sponsors, procures all props, organizes the day of execution, and promotes the photos on social media afterwards. At Philly Goat Project, Kerri does marketing, social media, outreach, and events with the goal of spreading the word about their mission and internship, animal assisted therapy, and community programs.

At any given time you will find Kerri walking goats on the farm, walking dogs at the animal shelter, walking her own dog Vinnie through the Italian Market, on the hunt for a gluten free donut before it sells out, or ordering one of everything on the menu at a new restaurant.
